Brian K Cabral II was born on February 1st, 1990. Raised in Decatur, Georgia he attended and graduated from Southwest Dekalb High School in May 2008. Brian then attended Morehouse College in Atlanta for four years graduating in with his Bachelor’s in English Journalism in 2012. He discovered his love for video working as a camera operator for the Greater Travelers Rest Baptist Church during his time at Morehouse. He was  also Production assistant in several music videos shot in the Atlanta area and even appearing as an extra in The Wicked by Benny D.

 

            From there because of his work ethic and adaptability he was given the opportunity to travel the country and outside of it with Good News Television Media Ministry (GNTV) as an intern and later as a by contract worker. There he expanded his knowledge of live video to audio, lighting and editing and became accustomed to long working hours and the physicality that it takes to work on a traveling production team. After working for GNTV for three years Brian left to attend Full Sail University pursuing a masters in Film production, he will graduate in March 2015. There he was the Director of Photography for his class project The Exchange and Unit Production Manager for his class’s thesis Film Sweet Nothings. The Film experience solidified his love for film and being a part of the storytelling practice. He seeks to use the skills he acquired throughout his journey to help share and tell the stories he believes in.
